"Today is the day for me. This is my time and this is the moment for me. For years I was silent and haunted and that`s made me strong and remind me of the support that come to me. And it made me strong to conquer my emotions," Ricky Martin said.
On that occasion, Ricky Martin also admitted that he was proud to be a gay. He was happy with his choice.
"I am proud to say that I was a homosexual. I am very blessed to be who I am," he said.
