Los Angeles - A new version of the classic hits We Are The World was recorded in Los Angeles.

Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie decided to recycle We Are The World which is had exploded in 1980 to raise funds for Haiti earthquake victims .

Vintage Vinyl News've compiled a list of musicians who have been reported to fill the new version of We Are The World, although the official announcement are still uncertain.

Musicians who will be involved in this project are Celine Dion, Pink, Natalie Cole, Kanye West, Jonas Brothers, Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Akon, Barbara Streisand, Lil 'Wayne, Joel Madden (Good Charlotte), Julianne Howe, Keith Urban , Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Zac Brown, Carlos Santana, Jeff Bridges, Vince Vaughn, Usher and many more.


We Are the World is a song created by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie in 1985. The song was produced by Quincy Jones and hosted by 45 member super group pop musicians who called themselves as US for Africa (United Support of Artists for Africa).

We Are the World single is intended as a charity single to raise funds for prevention efforts to help Ethiopia who have suffered from political instability in 1984-1985.
