London - The original Black Sabbath “Master Of Reality” master tapes that is composed on two quarter-inch Ampex 456 which is still in good condition, currently is being auctioned on eBay.According to a posting on eBay auction page, "This is the real deal from a private collection of Sweden and a rare opportunity to have a piece of music history".
The third album Black Sabbath, Master of Reality was released in 1971. The impression of the voice of the ‘dark’ or ‘heavier sound’ on the album has a significant influence on metal sub-genre that is now known as the genre of stoner rock and doom metal.
Master of Reality was recorded on Island Studios, London - England, between February and April 1971. The album was produced by Rodger Bain, who also handles two other Black Sabbath albums.Master of Reality has been awarded with double-platinum certification bestowed by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for album with total sales exceeding two million copies in United States market.
