London - Oasis have announced their plan to release their next album without Noel Gallagher.Currently they are still under the name "Oasis 2.0", Liam Gallagher said that he wanted to release Oasis 2.0 in the summer.
"I want to record it out in July next year," said Liam.
"We've completed about three songs and they sounded so amazing." Liam said. (The News Of The World)
As for the new Oasis 2.0 sound on the new material, Liam quickly shows that while Noel was away, the sound on the next Oasis album will be much changed.
"This is not a new direction," he explained. "We do not make reggae or rap music. This new material will not be different from before." Liam said.As previously reported, Andy Bell and Gem Archer will return to join with Oasis 2.0.
On August 28, 2009, there was a big fight going on backstage between Liam and Noel Gallagher. Oasis manager was immediately announced the cancellation of Oasis concert at Rock en Seine Festival near Paris, only a few minutes before they start the concert. Along with the cancellation of Oasis European tour, then they claimed that Oasis has been officially disbanded.
