London - Boyzone singer, 33 Stephen Gately died in his sleep, while on holiday in Mallorca, Spain. Ten years ago Stephen Gately made a sensation due to his announcement as gay.Boyzone official site was also confirming the news about Stephen Gately death. "Stephen died tragically while on vacation with his partner, Andrew, in Majorca. Other Boyzone personnel will shortly go to Majorca today."
Daily News reported on its homepage that Stephen had died after drinking. "Apparently he went out for a drink, then back, fell asleep and never woke up again" the newspaper said.
Spanish police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Stephen Patrick David Gately's death.
