Patrick Swayze, famous actors through the movie Ghost, died Monday (14 / 9) local time, in Los Angeles, United States. Swayze died at the age of 57 years after battling pancreatic cancer he suffered.

In March 2008, Swayze was diagnosed with the deadly disease. But he decided to continue working with a memoir with his wife and filming drama series The Beast.

Swayze's name skyrocketed when he starred in the musical film Dirty Dancing in 1987. He serves as the son of a choreographer. The film became a phenomenon, plus the theme songs that became hits. Swayze has also donated his voice and come write a song She's Like the Wind in the soundtrack.

Swayze then starring action film “Road House” in 1989 when he played as a bouncer at a bar slums. But the shining star in the drama Ghost in the 1990s. He acts as a dead man and trying to establish communication with his living fiance (played by Demi Moore), through a psychic (played by Whoopi Goldberg).

Ghost displays one of the most memorable movie scenes of all time. That is when Swayze and Moore make pottery together with a song accompanied by the strains of Unchained Melody Righteous Brothers.

Swayze received three Golden Globe nominations for Dirty Dancing, Ghost and To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar, when he served as transsexual. Swayze is married to Lisa Niemi since 1975.
